Annapoorani - Banglore

Last week I went to Banglore. This is my third visit to Banglore. First time during college period for an industrial visit. Second visit happened last year during the christmas holidays. My sister-in-law is there in C.V.Raman Nagar.

We went to the Annapoorani restaurant in Ulsoor. This is a restaurant run by the Mouli's group. They serve pure authentic south indian vegetarian food. The food was awesome. They serve karnataka rotis like akki roti, jolwar roti. Adais like thanjavur adai, thanjavur onion adai, murungai keerai(drumstick leaves) adai are simply delicious. You also get yummy bisibelabath, lemon and coconut sevais. The morekali and rice uppma are the must try ones. The morekali was too good. I had akki roti with brinjal pulikootu. They also have special weekend lunches with exotic menu. In weekend u have to wait for a long time to find a table. Still the food makes u to do that.

Location : Cambridge Road, Ulsoor (Near Sai Baba Temple)

Type : Authentic South Indian - Vegetarian

Cost : Meal for two will cost around 200.

Must try : Morekali, akki roti, rice uppma and adais.
